Round-table & meetings in Washington DC 

On October 23& 24 Madaniya did it’s second round of visits as part of our International Engagement Program. We held a roundtable session that included a group of member and non-member Syrian civil society organizations in Washington, DC. 

The Madaniya team also met with the Office of Near Eastern Affairs in the US administration, the meeting included the Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Office of Near Eastern Affairs, Ethan Goldrich, and his team, in order to discuss field developments inside Syria and in the region in general.

In a similar context, the Madaniya team met with the Senior Official in the Office of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, Erin Barclay, and her team, to introduce them to Madaniya and its work priorities for the coming year, and to search for future means of cooperation to ensure that Syria remains on the international agenda in light of the many changes in the regional context.
