Today, Syria stands on the threshold of a new era, nearly a month after being liberated from the Assad regime. Syrians now face an extraordinary opportunity to shape their political, social, and economic future within the framework of a desired state of citizenship. However, difficult questions confront them in this pursuit, with perhaps the most prominent being how to craft a representative political transition process that guarantees their aspirations for dignity, justice, rights, and freedoms for all, without discrimination, in the context of a country that has been devastated, economically crippled, and turned into a large crime scene filled with war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Madaniya invites you to an open, public discussion session to address some of these questions with representatives from several of its member institutions within the Syrian civil space.
